[Eighty Eight]

Apparently taken from a German soldier Xmas 1942.
I know they are not issued. They came with a Strap, Button flap & Bakelite lens cover.
These look like they were issued, but I stand to be corrected!
Can find nothing on these binos at all on interweb.
Will post pics later.

They're probably pre war and any quality binocular could well have seen action in WW2. I'm sure I've a 7x50 brass version too. Now I'll have to rake it out!

Just started servicing them.
Optics terrible, fungi haze etc.
Cleaning up OK so far.

Very well made. Top quality.
Benutzer seems to be same pattern as one I keep seeing with Hensodt. Binos?
