As far as I remember, the M over A marking under the round mount base means Mauser Arbeiten. (Mauser Job) Seen at the lowest of the photos.

Found on weapons made, or modified, at the Mauser factory.

The marking is actually an entwined RW stamp, it is said this is an inspection mark and stands for Rudolph Weiss a Mauser employee & Inspector.
