Looking for info on 8x45 Binoculars

I'm looking for some information on some 8x45 binoculars my grandpa brought back. They are black with a leather strap and the case is brown leather; however the shoulder strap is broken. One side of the binoculars is marked Opt. Anst. RobertGeller Giessen. The other side is marked Jagd-Nachtglass "UHLENFLUCHT" 8x45. Any help is greatly appreciated.
