Dienstglas 7x50, blc – Carl Zeiss

Recently I bought these binoculars 7x50, blc, 42778. They did not have range grid (Strichplatte).

I have two questions on these:

- What is manufacturing year according to serial number?
- Is this HEER or Kriegsmarine model?

I have not see date information on the 5 digit produced serial number Zeiss. Would guess late '43, early '44. 7x50 are less common than the 10x50

It's not late '44 as it has the texture covering. Not painted.

Regarding the book of Hans Seeger your bino should be made around 43-44.
