Need opinions on this Fallschirmjäger Jump Smock...

Hi all. This is my first pass at one of these and I want to make sure I don't screw it up. I've spent hours researching the various types, but in the end I'm stumped. What are your thoughts on this one? Is it good? I see evidence of mothing on the white wings of the sleeve patches, which gives me hope.

    Thanks!

Very nice an original. The base material is more often seen on Luftwaffe aircrew items so I speculate a rare combination for a Fallschirmjager Jump Smock. Great eagle as well.

            Hello, Dzyner,
            What a beautiful Knochensack!
            Wow, I'm really jealous!

Thanks for the great feedback gents!

              Questions for the group...
              1. Am I correct that the rank on this is that of Oberfeldwebel?
              2. How do we know that this is for Fallschirmjager? Forgive me if this seems like a naive question, but my experience in this area is minimal.
              3. Is anyone able to make out the content of the markings on the interior?

Holy cow indeed! That is only the second smock made in this summer flightsuit fabric I have seen; and the other one was also a converted splinter step-in. Amazing!

Yes, it is a FJ smock and is in the rank of Oberfeldwebel. What's cool is that he upgraded his rank by adding another gull, instead of replacing the whole piece.

I know I have that Berlin maker in my database, but the name escapes me at the moment.

Willi, the maker is Ernst Rihm - very rarely seen .
