Guys I have a quick question - why are the backs of these this dark black color? I have an eagle with the backing that and was told it was reproduction.

I personally like this pattern of cap eagle. It's not great looking in the front but the back looks good. I. Believe the Eagles that have a paper black backing are fake though. Thanks for all the comments!!
