Yes, it's a fake, look-a-like ..., 1st saw them in the 70's, certain dealers had buckets full of them, also ( fantasy ) flat wire luftwaffe badges like pilot and observer etc..
This one doesn't match the known originals.
They're tricky, because they're nice and rather convincing birds, especially when sewn on a wool backing .
