          Very nice mannequin !

I guess he's sitting on a flat O2-tank hidden in the parachute pack ?

          Jos.

              Hi Jos,
Thats correct, the container has ten small oxygen bottles, which are all present (when I change the mannequin I'll post some better photos)

                Luftwaffe Aircrew Survival Flight Cap.

                Hi all,

There has been debate about the Luftwaffe Aircrew Survival Cap.

This youtube link is of a 1940 German film about the Invasion of Norway.

At about 53.07 there is a sequence showing LW aircrew wearing the Survival Cap.

I hope that this is helpful.

                Regards,
                Robert.

                  Hi all
Everybody familiar with this penant ??
...to be fixed on the aircraft as a "warning signal" student pilot executing his first solo mission. After being successfull, it was kept as a souvenir.
Not a big thing, but still nice to me.
                  regards Stephan

Could someone please try to ID these boots/shoes worn by Gunther Lutzow:

Are they ankle boots or some type of regular shoe?

The picture came from the Bundesarchiv files and is also in "Men-At-Arms number 377 "Luftwaffe Air & Ground Crew 1939-45, page 7.

                    Thanks,
                    Bob

                      Bought this one:

And now? What should I do with it?

Anyone who has the rest of the aircraft for me?

                        Ramjet,
Nice!!! I looked on the "Luftwaffe Cockpit Instrument" site but couldn't determine which aircraft in may have been in.

There's a couple of places that offer full-scale instrument panels and instruments. You ought to Google and see what you find. I know of one:

                        http://www.inzpan.com/articles.asp?id=132

Or a piece of plywood shaped like a panel from the cockpit of your choice would be cool as a display.

                          Bob,

it should be for a two-engined aircraft without pressurized cockpit, according to the former owner perhaps for the Ju 188.

You will find the same airspeed indicator with two needles (for barometric deviation?) in the Me 262, but there it shows up to 900 km/h.

                          Have a nice Sunday,
                          Steve

This airspeed indicator is found in certain model Stukas and sometimes in the Me-109K.

Wow, where do You know from?

I already checked all my Bf 109 literature but found only the 750 km/h / one needle type in the cockpit pics, even on the late models including the K.
