        Hi There!
Sure the fur rabbit lining is quite common on this type of flying helmet. Less than the sheep one, but is seen quite often on this type of stuff.

If you talk about period pics, I don't know. It's not easy that someone catch a photo of the inerior of flying helmet... but there's anything of impossible! Maybe Jos or Hs132 could help you!

        Cheers!

I haven't seen them in pics yet, or maybe once..

Nice cap though, it seems these fur lined ones come in small(er) sizes, at least the ones I've seen sofar, but this could be coincidence.

            Very nice flight cap
Here´s a portrait from my collection showing a LkpW101 with a rabbit lining, the only one I´ve seen so far.

Please, Jos or some other Mod, could you go through the thread and remove all those pages and pages and pages of useless Saez stuff? The guy has passed last summer through his own posts and has removed each and every photo, posted here for a couple of years period. Now his posts not only are Zero reference, but are completely useless and make this thread unpleasant and annoying to look for something, by going through numerous empty pages one after another

Hi guys, today got the second Dreieckrechner. Unlike my first one, it has two aircraft figures on it. Why is that? Does it have some special purpose, or is just a version with all the same purpose? The instrument with 1 aircraft is made in January 1940 and the one with the 2 aircraft - March 1939

AFAIK the earlier ones have two aircraft silhouettes and the later ones only one printed on.

I'm busy, I've done 30 pages now and it took me 4 hours, it'll take a while to have them all done.., many other replies are refering to those deleted pictures and I'll try to make some changes in some text also so new people will not be that puzzled what these replies are all about.., I've been deleting over 300 replies now and there's still a lot to do..

In the meantime I hope that everone will leave his pictures where they are for the time being.. or maybe better not to post them when they've the intention to delete the whole business after a while for whatever what reason.., please.. , the only one who will be punished by these actions is me to clean up the whole mess, ..... I'm afraid..

                            Jos.

I think it's just design, I must say that the early Dreieckrechner's have more style than the later ones.., they're quite nice, later designs are more simple, most probably for economic reasons..
The period before 1940 was the best, great detailed stuff, great quality, designed by skilled persons... after that period production had to increase and detail got less important...

                              BTW, found your picture back..

Back to the rabbit fur-lined flight helmets for just a moment, here's the interiors of two that I have.
