Just a thought, but don't many Luft collectors like to see a nice swept wing, to the left and right, pattern embroidery to the individual strands on the officers gulls? I've heard this notion put forth on many occasions, however, as I'm not really into officers items, I have do not have a definitive answer, although amongst good tunics I've seen, this does appear to be a common thread.

Let's say it so, Scott: The probabilty of being a good collar tab is higher if the wings are stitched this way then if they run perfectly straight. Unfortunately, there are fakes with swept embroidery also. And there should be good ones with parallel lines but I don't like them personally.
