    Junker Tail Section

    Hello,
Here is a tail section from a Junker that a friend of mine has.
There were 2, now only has 1 left.
Originally shipped to the states during the North Africa Campaign, then recently left out for the trash, luckily they were saved.
He would like to know how desirable they are.
Here are some pics, even has the tag still riveted to the back side.
    Thanks for looking.
    Regards,
    Gary

I most surely would agree! I'm not qualified to place a value on this, but that would look quite stunning hanging at a correct angle on the war room wall...if space were not at such a premium!

Paul, you mean an angle like this?

                Gary,

Where Might I find the trash cans your friend picked these out of, I’ll be heading there after work tonight!

Seriously though I can’t imagine anyone who has a war room who wouldn’t love to have one of those for the wall, especially a Luft collector. A very highly desirable item for sure.

                  Me110 Tail Section

                  Hi Gary,
I've attached a photo of a piece of tail panel from an Me110, removed from an aircraft that was being melted down at the Cowley Works (Morris Motors, Oxford), where there was an aircraft dump during the war, for metal reclaimation. This piece was removed by one of the workers there, then kept in his loft until his death, his wife put it into a local auction, where I managed to aquire it.
In this area (Oxford) I've mamaged to find several Luftwaffe pieces that I presume have originated also from this site, wheels (used post war on wheel barrows) gauges etc, the panel though is I think the ultimate prize.
                  Regards
                  Gary

I think this is an understatement, especially one with battle damage like yours.

                      Kind regards,

Beautiful pieces. The tag ups the value greatly in my opinion.
