Fired from what weapon

Could anyone please identify what weapon this shell was fired from.
It is about 4,7cm across the base & It is stamped R.I.S. 40'
Much appreciated for any information.

Thank you for your info regarding the French Tank Shell, I have delved into our local documentation & found this info.
We had 17 Renault Char B1 bis here in jersey by 1942 within Panzer Abteilung 213, 12 of these were renamed as the German PzKpfwagen Char B1 bis 740 (f) & the other 5 were converted to flame-thrower tanks being PzKpfWagen B1 bis mit Flammenwerfer.
I had only thought about the Renault FT17 with the 3.7cm guns.
Amazing how new information brings back old information.
Obviously this shell pictured is from one of the said tanks from here in Jersey.
