Ammo Carrier for Railroad Gun Bruno 28cm

Hello Guys,

i got this at todays fleamarket. I had no time to reaserch its purpose till now. But i do think it belonged to a 28 cm Railroad Gun. Is this correct ?

It is written with: "auptkart. Bruno N , Lagerung und transport der gefüllten Behälter nur liegend"

Has anybody some info about this piece ? Iam also looking for Pics with htis Boxes in use.

It's a box that used to hold the main charge of the 28 cm Bruno neue Kanone (Eisenbahn), officially called "Behälter für die Hauptkartusche der Bruno N-K".
