It's no surprise SD 1 has just about the same dimensions as the 5 cm Wgr. mortarround, their body's are the same.
Germans made clusterbombs out of 8,8, 10,5 and 15 cm shells, as well as bombs out of french surplus 52 cm shells, i've never heard of 7,5 cm shells being converted, any info on that available somewhere ?
SD-1 was packed in large container, different sizes exist:
- AB-500, containing 392 SD-1
- AB-250, containing 224 SD-1
- AB-70 , containing 50 SD-1
