Help Identifying Ammunition Case - Stück Wgr 36!

Can anyone here please help me identify the contains of this original 1940 dated wooden ammunition case, the part label say's 'Stück Wgr 36' if that means anything, although I suspect 5 cm Mortar possibly? Can't read the lid unfortunately but I'd be interest to know what its refers to? Danke

Hi Bern, I was looking at that page earlier today before I posted here and thinking like you it could be that, however the writing on the case lid doesn't appear to match. I'm sure it say's something completely different but I'm totally lost as to what that may be??

FP is elither Feldpatrone 02 rounds or Fullpulver/explosives (TNT, charges, blasting caps etc.).
