    German landmine

Is this a WW2 german landmine. In my opinion if it is from WW2 it has been repainted. The seller claims it is DAK, obviously not. What does these sell for in all original condition? Jacques

    Hello Jacques,
I'd say it's a reproduction Tellermine 42. The pie shaped pressure plate is not the correct shape and the centre fuse well hole is not large enough to accept the fuse.

        Jacques,
The most glaring factor pointing to a reproduction/replica/fake is the size of the centre fuse well, it has to be large enough in diameter to accept the fuse.

This repro mine is produced in the UK a few years ago, it's a good copy apart from the fuze well that lets it down.

With a little more accuracy put into the pressure plate, it would be a lot more difficult to distinguish from an original.
