    Can you ID this rusty 'wheel like' object?

    The museum had this down as a tank wheel, which to me didn't seem realistic and certainly nothing came to mind be that British, American, Italian or German. What it did make me think it was was the base of an aerial bomb i.e. the part that goes between the fins and the main body of the bomb.

    Does anyone have any insight or can you positively identify it?
