In my most recent batch of "stinky green stuff", I came across this dude. It has a long German looking word below a number... I think.

I'm guessing a WWI ordinance body of sorts?

If I read correct it says 'Ziehrichtung' which means 'direction to pull'.

aiming device

I clearly read:

Zieleinrichtung

which means: aiming device !

Unfortunately I don't know for what the aiming device could be !?

Some sort of the handle portion maybe for some sort of aiming device.

Looks like above the Zieleinrichtung it says s.F.H 13, so it would be for the 15cm Schwere Feldhaubitze 13.
