Does anyone here in the forum own complete Zündmittel für je 9 S.Mi.35 labeled box for 9 S.mine 35 accessories? I would like to see,how complete box was filled.As i made deal of this box type.

Original etiquet for the box says interior parts include:
-9 S.Mi. Z.35
-10 Z.z. 42
-30 Sprengkapseln Nr.8 (Al)
-5 Zwischenstücke
-27 kl. Dichtscheiben
-9 gr. Dichtscheiben
-2 Glühzündstücke 28

Hi jiipee76,

I have a few complete boxes like yours - I add some actual pictures I
have for the moment.
The "Dichtscheiben" are not yet on the photos - have to take some more
on Wednesday to show them really complete.
The rarest accessories here are these sealing gaskets although the rest is not easy to find complete.

at least 2 of my boxes have labels which list only 10 Z.Z..42.

I checked this out, the only boxes listing 15 pull-fuses in its content
are those who had the earlier Z.Z. 35 !!

Let me be clearer. The SMI box calls for 10 zz42 fuzes. But the box of ZZ42 fuzes only come in 15. So did the SMI box just have extra fuzes, or did they just put 10 lose fuzes in the SMI box?

now I see what you mean ! A little misunderstanding.....

Yes, you are correct, I checked all of my Z.Z.42 boxes (always cardboard)
and they all do take 15 Z.Z.42, not only 10.

Very interesting question !

I´ll continue to look out in this matter........

Hey James,

fantastic discovery, I love that box of yours !

It is a mid-war specimen, very rare in my opinion.
All those I found the last years were either very early or late, like 1944.

The fact that yours is 1943 made, might explain why they are
still packing 15 Z.Z.42 into the accessories box.
Very interesting !

If you plan to sell yours one day, please let me know !

I have a metal accessories case with a label inside that also states 15 ZZ42. The label is dated 1944.
