Can anone ID this ctg? My Dad gave it to me about 40 years ago and told me it was a flare. I just found it in my old room. I had forgotten about it. It
It is ~1.625" dia and appears to be a flare ctg case that becomes the projectile. An early high/low system.(?) Look at the port holes. It also appears to be a front loading. There is a small fuse in the bottom to exspell a flare or other payload.
Uncle Bill said it might be for a "flashlight gun" flare pistol. Does anyone have a gun or a ctg that is not fired?
