    Hello,

A picture would help, because the markings are typical K98.

    Cheers

I founded hundreds marked with S(with STAR) P249 39 and 14,are they "normal" ammo for K98?

Another one got S(with star),P315 39 and what looks like 5.

        What does these markings mean?

P249 (or the P319) is the maker - this predates the letter codes.
S* or just a * indicates it's a brass case. (St or St+ is a steel case and the copper washed/plated steel case have some roman numbers ie IXg1, Xw1, Xm1, VIIbb1 are some of the ones I have).
          39 is the date.
14 (or the 5) are lot numbers.

So you could have for example from some of mine...

cg St+ 38 44 This is a 'cg' made, lacquered steel cased 7.92 round from lot no.38 in 1944.

          P249 IXg1 5 37 This is a P249 made, copper plated steel cased 7.92 round from lot no.5 in 1937

          P207 S* 31 36 This is a P207 made, brass cased 7.92 round from lot no.31 in 1936

auy S* 14 44 This is...well, I guess you get the picture now so no need to explain!
