German WW2 stick grenade

Hello everyone,

I normally post on the SS forum, but for my latest find I think I need your opinion...
Here it is...
The wooden stick is marked:
OVZ
41

The ceramic ball and cord are also still present...

the head is a different type to the stick the stick has a very fine thread and the head wont fit on properly and came in in about 43
so if you got it you would need eather a new stick for the head or a new head for the stick
it all looks origional though

Yes, you seem to be right. After looking carefully, the thread of head and stick is indeed different and it doesn't fit 'till the end'

sorry i dident realise you were still posting pics but all looks good except the string has been replaced at one time and as said before the head and stick dont match
