My new grenades

heres my m24 stick grenade i got from belters it has the latewar thread and was the best one i saw there the rest were ground dug or preatty crappy my one has some suface rust but has 50% of the origional green paint Also inside the fuze well is mint very nicely deactivated I cant find any markings on the head but is rusted so maybe under that. also all the metal parts are the green color even the bottom where the cap screws on is this common i thaught that bit was left bear metal?
Any one know when this type of thread came in and why?

And here is my star buy a Tan head in very good condition marked 44 FCC
Any one know if they had tan fittings too on the stick or green like the one above?

Matt he asked £65 but i got him down to £55 not cheep but not exspensive looking at othere i saw but i was after a grenade there and was the best i saw so had to have it also the later war thread made it a must have for me
