I see from the verbiage on the diagram below that was posted by klarkon, the abbreviated name for these is LZZ G.A.C. I assume that stands for Langezeitzünder Glasampulle Aceton C???, but I cannot figure out what the "C" stands for. Does the A.C. together stand for Aceton?
On the British version of these, the A/C Delay Igniter Mk I, the "C" stands for Capsule, but in German that would be spelled with a "Z" for Zelluloid. I thought about "capsule" too, but in German that would be Kapsel. Anyone know what the "C" stands for, and did I guess the reset of the name correctly, as stated above?
