Need help with possible Kriegsmarine hatband "Stützpunkt Borkum"

Hello everyone,
I have recently acquired what I believe to be a Kriegsmarine hatband, but I am unsure. It is a black band with gold lettering saying "Stützpunkt Borkum". Google translate tells me it says "Protect Point Borkum". I know that the Germans held a base on the island of Borkum off the coast of Germany, and of the war trials held there, but cannot find any info on the band.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Kriegsmarine or Bundesmarine?

Googling shows up a few Bundesmarine ones.....

According to this page it's Bundesmarine and was in use 1960-1996.

It's a Bundesmarine tally. There are no Stützpunkt in KM tallies.

There's a reference on the Swedish page to a German page: http://www.kieler-jung.de/start.htm - Mützenbänder, that is good for checking out tallies.

Finally, I believe Stützpunkt can be translated into Point of Support.

Incidentally I think it is more "strong point".....however each language has variations.
