I'm in communications with a gentleman who claims to have a WWII kriegsmarine stopwatch. Apparently the German who owned the stopwatch was on a U-boat which was sunk. The story goes that he forgot the stopwatch before leaving and later his boat sank.
The maker is Hermbark Keil Nr. 5600.
