I can not tell you if the cap is original or not, but the insignia for administrative officer is normally silver. Gold even if they have Admirals status.

But I know a good man here who can show us the right administrative officer tropical insignia!

Yes you are right, the chinstrap is perhaps a postwar addition.

It's not easy to find info about this kind of visorcap.

I don't think that the oak leafs and cocarde are good.
This type of cap have normally a removable top.

Yes i am agree with you about removable top.
I noted that we can find models with leather visor and others with tissue visor like on this one.
