    KM Insignia for review

Found this card in my grandfathers collection unfortunately this stuff seems to all be glued to the board it is on. Before I start the process of trying to save these items I would like to know if they are good or not. I really don't know much about Kriegsmarine items. I know the picture is not that great and you can not see the backs but any info would be helpful.

I agree. It all appears to be original IMO.

Very nice insignia! Could we get some close ups??? The upper right artillery and the M-44 Cap insignia would be great! Thanks in advance.

          I like them, also.

If you're not going to keep them but possibly put for sale,
I would be interested in buying in the present state, glued on board.

            Hi Guys,

IMO - these rock!! Quality originals! I'd have them in my collection!

            Cheers!

After I posted this I did take it upon myself to try and take some of these items off the card. The cap wreath completely separated from the backing but it was already in rough shape, and the bevo items would not come off so I will just cut the cardboard around them.

I will post pictures of most items front and back soon.

              Thanks everyone for the feedback.

I will be selling most if not all of these items as KM stuff is not my thing.

After trying a little harder I was able to remove all of the bevo items from the board. Here are pictures of everything front and back.

For what these "are".....three "exceptional" items (the CA Oval, Offz. "M43" bullion ins., and "Bullion" Naviators sleeve spec. patch...not best value wise necessarily- but scarce finds!)...

The bevo eagle RBD patch is Reichsbahn (Railroad), not Navy.

Most survived removal with minimal damage....next time you shouldn't be so QUICK!, but it's your stuff, of course.

The card they were on was very dusty and just really old not to mention I really wanted to see the backs and be able to post pictures of them. If they hadn't come off as easy as they did I probably would have just left them alone. The only bad damage that was done was to the bullion wreath which was falling apart anyways and would have fallen apart if someone looked at it the wrong way. I may spend some more time cleaning them up as I think I can get more of the glue off. These will be for sale on the E-Stand when I come up with prices.

                          Thanks Brian

I was wondering is the Generals Trapezoid a coastal artillery trapezoid?

                              I think it's coastal artillery.
