    Kriegsmarine Binoculars

I just picked up this nice set of 7 X 50 Kriegsmarine binoculars. The case and binoculars have the beh code for E. Leitz in Wetzlar and were made in 1943. The lenses are clear and the overall condition of the binoculars and case is excellent. I'd appreciate it if members could tell me anything more about these binoculars and their value. Thanks in advance!

I think you pretty much know it all...worth whatever you paid for them. There are no tracing lists for numbers as to ships or individuals I am aware of.

No, I don't know it all. Worth what I paid for them? I paid $250 for them and I know they are worth much more - I'm interested in knowing a price range for these. Incidentally, I'm also not looking for a way of tracing them to a vessel and there certainly is no tracing list.

Its a classic Kriegsmarine binocular in good condition.
I think that N stands for Nordsee

Just a question from a novice KM Binocular observer. The Eagle stamp on the leather case, that has to be the most detailed eagle I have ever seen. It looks like the eagle's head was taken from an F.O sub badge or a similar maker. The details are so crisp. I wasn't expecting to see details like this on a period piece.
The Markings on the Binoculars look good, I am not sure about the eagle applied to the Leather case. Does this seem too good to be real?
                  Thank you,
