Its for sale on a auction site and this is the only picture that they got
Its 9,5cm long and 3,5cm high

The front of this metal BE looks okay. But I would not buy it unless I could see the back side.

Regarding the seller there is no needle and catch only two prongs who goes tru the cloth

Andy,Here are some pics of my eagle.I have had this eagle for over 20 years and have never seen another until you posted the other one.Mine was removed from a scrapbook and has glue on the reverse.I was able to pull back the wool backing and my eagle is marked with the Assmann logo.Jay Parisi

The details dont look good enough for me.

Hi guys,

A bit late here but, in the past, there just weren't enough inputs on these.

Anyway, here are three of mine, all slightly different. The one with the KM backcloth was the only one I had seen when I purchased this several years ago and I think I posted it sometime back. Nice to see a thread finally on these.

Alot of different maker's on these. I believe the one Rick has shown is in fact original and more commonly seen in silver (Heer). I have seen these in gilt as well from time to time.

Here's a couple of different versions I picked up back around 2005?

So far, I have not see the lower style in gold as of yet, though I could not see why they would not exist.
