My name is Keith. I'm not a collector of 1/1 scale German headgear, but I do replicate WWII German headgear in 1/6 scale. My pieces are generally used in display of 1/6 scale military figures or for lone display. I have a thread in the "Model building and Display" forum titled "My miniature 1/6 scale headgear"or just follow this link http://www.flickr.com/photos/mimstudios/.
Anyway, I'm hoping to photo etch some Kriegsmarine cap badges to accompany my caps, but I've encountered a couple problems. Mainly, the 1/1 scale dimensions. I need to know them in order to translate them to 1/6. Is there a reference on the net or hopefully on this site that has this info?
The badges I'm refering to are on the Uboatsilver website.
