Well, here we go with an ebay offering from the Ukraine. No offense to those members from the Ukraine.

I think both articles are fake as far a Bismarck is concerned. You want to make sure the watch is at least real, you need to post those photos on a German Watch Forum which I will give to you in a second and of which I am a member.

Because of the mechanism, they will be able to identify the watch and when it was made most probably. John

          Hi

This seller has very rare cigarettes cased with U-Boot engraving and they are all fake !!! Be very careful with this item...

Most famous for their chalice pieces

Total bogus IMO, I would expect that those on the Bismarck would be using standard KM marked Tableware. For something like this, you could never know for sure.

                what utter crap.

As Ryan said, the tableware Bismarck would have used just as with the the stuff i've seen or have from Tirpitz was standard KM marked crockery.

As for the watch, period it may be but how would you tell when the engraving was done?

                    Guys,

I may be a bit late in this thread, but just for the cause, here is another

thread rearding the same seller for some suspicious FJ and Tirpitz cigarette case:

                    http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=327461

As everybody pointed it, just crap......

Got to be careful Big Time when dealing with Bismark and Tirpitz items... I use to know a guy that had original WW2 German Life Vests and would mark them with either ships name using original Greman rubber lettering stamps. And get $300. on up for them.
