No No please consider what you are doing. This may destroy a great helmet and greatly reduce it's value. A helmet that is untouched even with loose liner pins is worth much more than one that has been altered.
Seek advice on this before doing anything in the manner that you mention.

Wow, why would you pull it out? You must leave helmets as they are. They won't go for bigger money if "completely cleaned". Well in contrary it wil decrease in value as Mark said.
