The original finish under the grey. The only original German KM's I've seen are marine green and for ground troops feldgrau.

Of course there were apple green M35 Kriegsmarine helmets (and other configurations).

I also got an apple green m35 KM in my collection.

I even think the only difference is the decal, and not even the paint.

uumm I don't know my friend I saw KM's on Jersey they were darker green I nearly pulled the plug on a helm a while back from Europe a DD but the swaz was removed and I just saw another here in the US a single D for me these are pukka marine.
What is it with this guy, lets see the dam interior. Pissed off.

Could be, there are a lot of variations regarding KM helmets. But I'm sure they
also exist in large numbers in the same colour tones as Heer helmets.

There cannot have any difference in the paint between M35 KM and ET M35 heers, they all came from the same ET factory.

Changeover dude still works takes a couple of mins or like the Betz tunic where the farmer seller sowed and brought in his crops since you first posted and I've had my glasses prescription changed.

When your ready no rush my burial plot is picked out and paid for.
