              The camo paint is not original WWI era. The paint inside the rim is not original. The only original paint that appears to remain is inside the top. If you are considering a purchase, don't waste your money on this one.

                  1st clue is paint still in the bullet holes.
                  It goes downhill after that.

                    Chuck has made a very accurate assessment, Austrian M17 shell, most likely post war damage with largely post-war paint (exterior camouflage and internal portions of visor and neckguard.
