May I ask Raffaello to explicate what doesn’t impress him (aside from the scarcity of Sr Colonel’s items and exceptional condition). He's knowledgeable and I'm sure he may illuminate to mutual benefit.

all in those caps sounds bad the tailor cut style (very similar at the troops tropical cap) and the cloth bullions badge
( the red color of the base and type of bullion work) inside the liners not are tipically cloth construction
WW2; last consideration during RSI more of those caps model 42 are converted/reworked in the model 44 .
