Postwar marine/navy .

Postwar marine/navy helmet. Could have been an original shell at one time but arsenal reconditioned with new chinstrap, rivets , etc.

Not to be confused with a horde of original WW2 navy helmets recently found with the only the crowns over the anchor removed most likely post war then stored at an arsenal.
