i passed. there were things i didn't like; the seemingly unused chinstrap after it was painted white, and the white paint over rust on the buckle. the leather liner also looks too good to have been used in winter time at the Russian front, or anywhere else for that matter... so, did someone get a bargain, or a bum deal?

I was bidding on this m33 but ended up as second highest bidder.
To me this m33 is a good piece.

kranebet is selling good items when it comes to uniforms, cloth headgear and other stuff.
When it comes to helmets some that he sold/is selling are questionable.

and the Soviet Ssh-36 this same seller is selling as an all original Finish War/WWII piece, which is obviously a restored original shell (only the metal shell is original; all else, paint, star, liner are post war reproduced),
