Hi Andrea, this flag was purchased at the MAX show five years ago by my Slovenian connection. On eBay I stick to field gear. I wouldn't dare buy RSI items unless there is 40 plus bids and a ridiculous price in the end:-).

To the everyone else thanks for your input , and opinions. What's left me somewhat confused is the talk of official flags. Did there exist unofficial versions? Flags not adhering to standards?

Does "unofficial" = "real" or "fake" ???

      Hello Ariete:
From 1970-2010 I collected "real" flags, i.e., vintage historical used
flags of all periods & nations. During that time to me "unofficial" = fake,
and this helped me to avoid flags of questionable origin and also not of
great value. These days, with movie flags, "unofficial" flags are the
norm, which I sort out what is what by on screen capture shots.

PS/ On the RSI flag in question, IMO the markings are fake, for both the
"unofficial" WW2 90x150 size, and the spuriously added 1942 date.
