Commemorative (souvineer) medal for Balbo's depicting him as an aviation hero.
Issued by The Partito Nazionale Fascista (PNF, National Fascist Party) and Opera Nazionale Dopolavoro (OND National Recreation Club for health and recreation of workers) of Tripoli. Tripoli was the capital of the Italian colony of Libya. Balbo was given the job as governor in 1933. In 1940 he was governor and commander in chief of italian forces in Africa.
