Post pics of your Italian sam browne style belts.

    Hello,

I was wondering if some of you could post some pictures here of your Italian sam browne style belt (with strap). Im looking at acouple of them and wanted to compare them to your pics to verify these items are correct. Ones that im looking at are brown. If possible I would like to see pictures of black ones as well.

    Thanks you.

        All good..
But i'll stay away from Rbnr..He got some nice stuff, nothin' to say about it, but Targetti is one of the most expensive seller around here!
80 euro here in Italy for a sam browne belt even with holster its a robbery imo..
Maybe he try to raise the prices of italian militaria to sell it like the german's one!
Maybe in the US its not so easy to find that stuff, and maybe you'll pay a bit more for it, i understand it..
Anyway, you can try on ebay.it to find some nice fair priced sam browne!
Mostly you'll find it without holster, but you can start from it anyway and get the holster later!
I'll let you know if i find somethin if you want!

        Cheers,
        Andrea.

Thanks for your info Andrea. Please let me know if you find anything. I'm not sure about everyone else here but I really cant find any here. I was able to buy one here in the states, but that's it. But then when I do see one listed as Italian, I'm not sure it is.

The last of the three belts is of Air Force.

              Dear Luca,

What makes it a RA belt?
              Didn't know of any difference.

              Thank you.

Is not R.A.I., but Air Force after the war, I did my military service in the Air Force, we still had this kind of belts, with that particular type of holster, similar to that of the Beretta M15, the leather is thicker, and highly polished.
Some holsters subsequently reported the date of 1985.
If they are many in the market, because the Beretta M34 in the mid-nineties were
scrapped, along with them, MAB M42/59 and all equipment.
                Ciao, Luca
