Where to purchase Hungarian equipment

Hi,

I am new to Hungarian collecting, can someone point me in the direction of where ww2 stuff can be purchased. I am after y straps, rucksack, belt, water bottle and a cape.

before you start collecting, you should maybee read a little about it. then you would know that the hungarian army did´nt used Y - straps during WW2...

I would suggest to buy the hungarian second edition, it's much more better then the english one, with much more infos!

Thanks for the information. I have already bought that book but I bought the English version. Apologies for my slip, I know that they didn't officially use y straps. I am looking for field gear to add to my mannequins. The search goes on.

Another book you should be looking for is;

A m. kir. Fegyveres erők Képeskrónikája (1919-1945)
[Illustrated Chronicle of the Royal Hungarian Armed Forces (1919-1945)]

It is in Hungarian with Eng, Ger and French summaries.

It is 298 pages, Heavily illustrated, and has Maps, Tables, Charts and has inserts in colour for the medals and B/W chart of uniforms for Navy Army and Air Force.
