    Finnish Collar patch used in winter war

    Hello

    Anyone that can help me to identified this coller patch ?

    It had been on a Finnish Uniform, but are they Finnish or ??
    The uniform were used in the winter war 1939-40.

    Hi,

    Not Finnish tabs for sure but I recall that I was sent this same pic by Danish collector and I was told it was Danish volunteer on this pic? So maybe tabs made in Denmark for volunteers heading out to Finland?

    Fur cap cocardes seem to be Finnish officer types.

      Yes you might have right about the danish collector. I'm helping him with the collar patch.
      But it might be difficuelt to find out.

        I agree, most likely danish made tabs or finnish tabs with danish modification, very hard to find war time photos of the danish volunteers.

        Looks a little like finnish infantry tabs m/36 with a red and white device or stiching, maybe something to distinguish danish volunteers?
