Italian?? Adrian helmet

Hello folks. I just came into some nice items, including a few helmets. This one, I believe may be the Italian version of the Adrian helmet. It appears that it had a badge at once point, the mounting holes of which were filled in with solder prior to the helmet being re-painted. The helmet is complete w/ full liner and chinstrap but I don't see any markings. Could it be Italian? Russian? Or??? It's in very nice shape but I'm not 100 percent sure of its origin. I had to brighten the pix significantly as my flash was dying, but it's not nearly as "bright" in person. A very dull greenish brown in person. Thanks for any info!

It is an Italian M.15/16, refurbished with new liner,new paint (I don't know
if original) and uncommon leather chin-strap.PaoloM

Thanks Paolo. I thought so. Any idea why they'd have removed the badge, or was this common on refurbished helmets?
