I presume the IV is the size. Very large size IV and 43 date? But maybe neck size. I do not know. It is on neck. Unfortunately I do not own the shirt with the marking on the buttons on front anymore. Sadly sold it to a scheister who was expelled from WAF.

Yes, IV is size...roughly 42 44 inch chest.
Seeing just 1-3 sizes is understable. IV is rarer imo.
