Wool pull over orginal or not ?

Before concluding a deal with a friend, I need opinions on this pull over.
Half buttoned and round collar.
Is it an original one ?

I cannot say that the German military never produced those but I have only seen pullover sweaters without buttons and they had green stripes. The German Bundeswehr did have sweaters similar to that.

I agree they are West German Army and postwar, I had several of these at one point that I bought in a surplus store and wore. Warm, but not WWII warm

There is another style in the same material with a closed neck. I still have mine somewhere in storage. I will see if I can find them in the spring and post the other type which is also often mistaken or sold as WWII era.
