    Fluffy edge winterwendetarn handschuhe

    No longer collect camo stuff but I could not resist to snatch this pair of the www. These are really hard to find. I my past 20 years of WH, LW camouflage collecting I only have found 2 simulair pairs

          Seeing these gloves side by side illustrates quite well the variation of color and density of color printing seen in this pattern. As this was the first camouflage pattern the Wehrmacht used with this "bleeding" of the colors, it may exibit the difficulty textile manufactures had at getting this pattern correct. I wonder if this is why this pattern was so seldom seen in use and why so few examples survive today.
          I also wonder if the darker (denser) printed version is sometimes mis-identified as the more common Sumpftarn or "Marsh Pattern" when seen in period black and white photographs.

            Rare winter gloves.

            Nice set of gloves in the this scares pattern, Edwin seeing as you no longer collect camo clothing send them over then all I'll I need to have the full set in this pattern is a pair of the winter trousers. Regards David.
