You are exactly right. It is from the first scene of Valkyrie

Yes, I was impressed by the Afrika scenes in Valkyrie; they did a good job with the appearance of German soldiers in the desert. That jacket would be extremely convincing from even a short distance.

Give a man an opinion and you feed him for a day,
teach a man to use the "search" function on the WAF and you feed him for a lifetime.

As stated by OSS a movie uniform with a slightly better appearance than the previous 1960's example. The collar tabs are reversed. It would be interesting to see some interior details.

Fooled me from 10 feet. The prop company was from Poland. I got to talking with the owner at the SOS. He had to catch a plane home and sold it for half price. There is a little fake blood on te belt. Came with a COA. I have a few real AK items, but kind of fun to have something that was in a movie. We all watch war movies

Now you need the Tom Cruz General Staff tunic with bullet holes and blood we got a laugh out of here last(?) year.

Thanks, very interesting details including the "capture" tag. Never would have expected the wound bandage pocket with button hole to be included.
