    Pre war M34 eagle?

    Hello everyone,

I recently bought this 60's reproduction tropical hat and the eagle appeared to me to be an original pre war, gray variation M34 eagle. Can anyone tell? These are the only pics I have at the moment!

    Hello,

This is a reproduction eagle. These cap in a lot of different colors.

Thanks for the quick reply Fred. Any strong indicators on the eagle design itself? I just thought the color wasn't the normal feldgrau I saw on repros.

My buddy who is holding it for me graciously cut it off so I could see the back. Wanted to post it here as another 'fake' to be aware of. Not as gray as I thought it was with the original pics!

          Hello,

On this eagle it is the shape of the head, the curvature of the shoulders and the straight edge on the lower edge of the wing.
