So far I am better aquainted with summer uniform metal eagles but I should get started on these before all the good ones are gone. Your set looks like very nice Heere embroidered birds & all in top condition. I particularly like the 3 bullion officer types but the middle one is my favorite: unusally good head design for an embroidered bird

Good eye - that one is the best of the bunch. It came out of a tailor shop find last year. All of the hand-embroidered officers insignia was superbly done. Here is what I picked from that find

Thanks for the additional pictures. Incredible haul John: rare pieces, beautiful embroidery & all in top shape. I could develop a liking for those but you dont see them in that shape very often! Thanks again for sharing
